Weekly Club Runs and Walks

Indy Runners and Walkers provides group club runs and walks for your year-round enjoyment. There is a pace for the beginner, the flyer, and everyone in between.

Have you ever thought about trying out one of our club runs or walks? There’s nothing to it. Simply show up, and we’ll do our best to make you feel welcome and explain how the run or walk works.

Details about individual runs and walks including directions can be found below.

Important: Our parent organization, the Road Runners Club of America, requires us to collect signed waivers before anyone participates in a club activity. If you’re already a club member, you signed a waiver upon joining our club. If you’re not yet a club member, please sign-up for our 30 day free trial membership, which includes electronically signing a waiver. Thanks for your understanding! We can’t wait to see you out there!

(To quickly find the meet-up location, you can also enter the plus code 86FMVXCF+9C into the Google Maps or Waze app in place of an address, and it will indicate the meet-up location in the park.) You will need to purchase a daily or annual pass as most runs go in and out of the park. This Sunday run with a few exceptions is a slower paced run with most runners over 50. All ages are welcome and runners follow various routes as there are many courses available. Water is available when the fountains are running and water is also provided with cups by the gatehouse. Dogs welcome too! Here is a map showing various running routes. Note: The distances are not accurate as they assume an old starting location.

Courses are available from 2 to 13.1 miles. Six miles of the course is inside Fort Harrison State Park. You must have a pass to enter the park. The daily pedestrian entry fee is $2 per person. An annual entrance permit which is good at all Indiana state parks is available for $50. These annual passes run from January 1st to December 31st. Please note: The park fee schedule is subject to change. Check the current fee schedule here.
