10th Annual Megan Hammerle Memorial 5K

Please join us in person or virtually for the 10th Annual Megan Hammerle Memorial 5K benefitting Boone County Mentoring Partnership (BCMP). This event honors the life of Megan Hammerle, a 2014 graduate of Lebanon High School who loved to run….especially on cross country courses.

In recognition of the 10th Annual Megan Hammerle Memorial 5K, the committee plans to ramp up the fun by having music, inflatables, food trucks and a merch tent at the event.

Megan was a first-year student at DePauw University when she died on February 13, 2015, from a rare form of meningitis. Megan was the kind of person that made a positive impact on those around her. She was a faithful friend, a talented musician and artist, lover of books and was not afraid to be her authentic self. Her impact lives on in so many of us and we are honored to remember her legacy with this annual race and through charitable contributions to Boone County Mentoring Partnership.
