Run or walk one mile in reverse. Backward Mile is a fun family run for a great cause. Runners start at the finish line and end at the start line. Time counts backward, runners dress backward and run backward. Instead of receiving a finisher medal, runners turn in an old race medal. Backward Mile collects an old race medal from each participant, then donates those medals to Medals4Mettle. This is a great opportunity for runners and the community to really impact the lives of those living with chronic or debilitating illnesses.
