Beck’s 5K Run/Walk & Kids Fun Run

Join Beck’s for our third annual 5K run/walk on Saturday, June 10, 2023. Our 5K is designed to promote health and wellness among Beck’s employees and their families, customers, dealers, and the community. This is a great opportunity for you to get OUT and get MOVING while connecting the local community and raising money for a great cause! Stick around for the post-race party including vendor booths and a food truck!

This year’s event will benefit K9s for Warriors. Determined to end veteran suicide, K9s For Warriors provides highly-trained Service Dogs to military veterans suffering from PTSD, traumatic brain injury and/or military sexual trauma. With the majority of dogs coming from high-kill rescue shelters, this innovative program allows the K9/Warrior team to build an unwavering bond that facilitates their collective healing and recovery. This treatment method is backed by scientific research (from Purdue University’s OHAIRE Lab) demonstrating Service Dogs’ ability to help mitigate their veteran’s symptoms of PTSD while simultaneously restoring their confidence and independence.

We will continue to partner with Changing Footprints to host a shoe drive collecting previously-worn or new shoes for distribution to homeless, disaster-stricken, and underprivileged individuals within our community.  Changing Footprints has partnered with multiple organizations in Hamilton County (such as Third Phase homeless shelter, Good Samaritan Network, Hamilton Heights, Cinderella Story, etc) to provide nearly 10,000 pairs of shoes to individuals in need. Help support our community by bringing shoes, in any condition, to be donated at packet pick-up or on race day!
