Beyond the Badge

Beyond the Badge is a 5K run and walk and a 1.5 mile family Stroll. This event is in honor of Sheriff’s Deputy Jason Baker, who made the ultimate sacrifice on September 17, 2001, protecting our community. Proceeds from the event go to the Jason Baker Foundation, Inc., a 501 (c) 3, provides scholarships for those pursuing a career in the field of public safety.
Both routes include the beautiful Heroes of Public Safety Memorial. The 5K route is a scenic route through beautiful Crown Hill and includes a memorable trip to the top of “the Crown.”
The 5K run is scored and prizes are awarded.
Water stops included on both routes, refreshments following, drum corps, church service, roll call of fallen heroes, and other special events.
