Looking for a tough run? This one qualifies! The first mile dishes out steep climbing and rugged trail conditions. Then the middle miles offer a slight break with rolling terrain. The final mile dives back down into the valley on a rocky descent, then crosses the creek three times before reaching the finish line after just over 5 miles of running or walking. In summer, the creek is typically low enough to stay dry, but runners need to watch their footing.
The race is the second bonus points race for the DINO Trail Run Series. It’s part of the larger DINO Triathlon happening simultaneously.
