Eagle Project 5K Run/Walk and Cookout

I am a 15 year old Boy Scout organizing a 5K run/walk and cookout to complete my Eagle Scout Project. My project is to raise $1,600 for Mays Community Academy so that I can buy 10 microscopes to donate to the school. The course is a relatively flat loop on the country roads. A ticket to run the race costs $20 and includes a meal at the cookout afterward.
