Great North Run

The Great North Run is a 10K, 5K & Fun Run through the North Central High School campus and surrounding neighborhoods. Funds raised support programs in our schools that tax dollars do not provide.
The registration fee includes recovery station with food and a fitness fair. All events are open to walkers* and runners. Elementary school children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
Start time for the 10K is 9:00 AM – Start time for the 5K is 9:20 AM and Start time for the Fun Run is 9:25 AM
All 10K particpants are timed. 5K participants have the option to be timed or not. Fun Run participants will NOT be timed.
*10K walkers must maintain a minimum pace of 12 minutes per mile or faster.
