Groundhog 7 and 5 Mile Races

This will be the 50th annual Groundhog 7. It includes the traditional 7 mile option and the shorter 5 mile option! (Due to construction at the event location, the 5 mile race will actually be about 5.3 miles.) The “Groundhog” is a free 7 or 5 mile race directed by Indy Runners and Walkers as a public service. If you’re not racing it, please consider volunteering.

We usually ask that you bring at least one canned good item for donation to the Zionsville Food Pantry. However, while we were looking forward to collecting food items for the Zionsville Food Pantry again this year, COVID would make it hard for them to properly sort all of the food at this time. For that reason, you are welcome to leave an OPTIONAL cash donation at the race for the food bank.
