Each year, HealthNet’s Homeless Initiative Program (HIP) serves more than 1,600 individuals who are experiencing or immediately threatened with homelessness. Proceeds from the race allow HIP to support emergency needs of food and clothing for those who are on the street. They will also help us to support households in obtaining and maintaining employment and housing by ensuring access to transportation, work uniforms, utility deposits, and security deposits.
