Iron Eagle Paddle & Run benefitting Eagle Creek Park Foundation

For the 9th year, our Iron Eagle Paddle & Run fundraiser is set for Saturday, July 23, 2022 at Eagle Creek Park’s Beach! This adventure race is motivated by our desire to raise funds for the betterment of Eagle Creek Park (100% of proceeds benefit the Foundation!). The race is open to all ages. Solo and 2 or 3-person teams are all welcome! 3-person teams are not eligible for prizes

Please join us for a tour of one of the nation’s largest city parks while catching a glimpse of the park’s wonderful scenery. Competitors have the option to bring their own kayak, canoe, or stand-up paddle board, or rent a boat in advance through Eagle Creek Outfitters. All participants bringing their own water craft are required to bring a PFD (personal flotation device), otherwise known as a life jacket.

The race includes the following segments:

• 2.5 mile trail run – from the beach to the marina
• 1.5 mile paddle
• 2.5 mile trail run back to the beach area

The course is set up similar to a triathlon with a transition area where you can stage your gear for each leg.

Eagle Creek Outfitters & Adventure Outpost will donate $10 of each boat rental to the Eagle Creek Park Foundation.

***Dogs are not allowed this year. We love them, but the trails are not wide enough.

Check in / boat drop off will take place at the Marina between 6:30am and 7:30am
The race will begin at the beach area at 8:00 am.
