The Megan Hammerle Memorial 5K celebrates the life of Megan Hammerle, a 2014 graduate of Lebanon High School and student at DePauw University. A passionate runner, Megan’s love for the sport inspired her friends to organize the first Megan Hammerle Memorial 5K in May 2015 to honor her memory.
This timed event takes place on a paved road course that begins and ends at Lebanon High School, winding through Lebanon Memorial Park and local neighborhood streets. Participants receive a distinctive event t-shirt featuring Megan’s original artwork and a medal.
Proceeds benefit Boone County Mentoring Partnership.
