Nancy’s Ride is a fundraising ride named in Honor of Nancy Stimson, the founder of Freewheelin Community Bikes. Ride proceeds will benefit Freewheelin’ Community Bikes, a 501(c)3 youth development organization that connects youth with skills for life over a shared passion for the bicycle.
Distance Rides: Composed of three routes 30, 62, and 100 miles long for riders to travel throughout Indianapolis and the surrounding areas. The 100 mile century ride is highlighted by the Freewheelin’ Century Club riding their first 100 mile ride which they have been training for all summer.
Destination Ride: Casual paced 10 mile ride with fun things along the way to enjoy. Ideal for families and short distant riders. This ride celebrates the memory of Nancy who always loved to take kids on rides to fun places. The two places we’re going this year are spots Nancy loved to visit and take her kids to. It’s about the joy of riding and why we ride.
