OPSF 50|50 is a long standing Indiana tradition. This low key event in Owen-Putnam State Forest is provided by non-profit Indiana Trail Running Association (ITRA), and it’s an opportunity for people to run a lesser known Indiana course (even though it’s only an hour from Indianapolis!). Come join us!
2022 changes due to COVID-19:
The 50 mile is planned for 2022! We will continue to monitor pandemic conditions if any changes are required.
The OPSF 50|50 race is a 50 mile, 50k distance race beginning at 7:00 a.m. and a 14 mile Run beginning at 9:00 a.m.
Weather: Spring in Indiana can provide interesting weather. 2018 brought a winter storm with sleet and snow! And then 2019 brought a 50° day and dry conditions! Please watch the weather and prepare accordingly!
PLEASE NOTE: This race is a CUPLESS race. This means you must have the ability to carry 20 oz of water on your person at all times. No cups will be provided at aid stations. We will only provide prepackaged food items at aid stations. There will be no post-race dinner. Masks will be required when entering aid stations until you exit. Thank you for understanding and following our safety guidelines.
