Republic Airways Race the Runway is taking off this fall on Saturday, September 25, 2021. The family-friendly fundraising event is one of the most unique 5k experiences in Indianapolis—with runners, joggers and walkers following a course parallel to a runway at Indianapolis International Airport. What’s cooler than taking in the sights and sounds of jets taking off as you log some miles for great causes?
Race the Runway benefits several Indianapolis-area schools and organizations that help inspire youth, advocate for better tomorrows and prepare children for prosperous futures. In addition to the untimed 5k run/walk, there will also be a Taxiway Trot—a course under one mile—as well as stationary aircraft and other vehicles for attendees to see and tour. Mask will be required in the hangar. T-shirts are guaranteed for those registered by 9/18.
