Run With Shears 5k

Join us on May 20, 2017 on the historic Indy Canal Walk for the second annual Run With Shears 5k. This family friendly event kicks off National EMS Week and is a great way to celebrate with EMS professionals from across the state. This 5k run & walk starts and finishes on the Indiana State Museum Lawn and is open to runners and walkers of all abilities (and yes, even pets, strollers, and kids are welcome!) All athletes will receive a sweet custom die-cast finisher medal, a comfy shirt, and a great post race experience on the beautiful canal walk. Also, you don’t have to be an EMT or Paramedic to join us. Everyone is welcome to attend and learn more about what emergency medical services providers do on a daily basis. All proceeds from this event will go toward building the Indiana EMS Memorial at the statehouse. Don’t miss out on the only 5k in Indiana with a helicopter flyover!
