Next to the Indiana Statehouse, firefighters and police officers from across the state who gave their lives in the line of duty are memorialized. Join fellow EMS professionals to create an addition to this memorial for emergency medical technicians and paramedics who lost their lives serving our communities. We are one of the only EMS 5k races in the United States and annually host hundreds of runners, walkers, and EMS professionals from across the Midwest.
This event is proudly hosted by the Indiana EMS Memorial Foundation, a 501 (c)(3) charity. The mission of the foundation is to memorialize fallen EMS providers and advance the Emergency Medical Services profession.
This exciting family friendly day includes a fly-over by an aeromedical helicopter (weather permitting) and many other opportunities for the community to get to know their emergency medical services professionals. There will be ambulances and emergency apparatus from all over the state available to tour.
Runners and walkers of all abilities are welcome to participate in this annual event along the scenic Downtown Canal in the heart of Indianapolis. EMS professionals and competitive runners alike will love our fast and flat USATF sanctioned course with elite awards, medals, and shirts.
