Waterfall Trail Runs 5K/10K

These are 5K and 10K trail runs on the trails of the Salamonie State Forest.
The start and finish are at the Observation Mound pavilion atop the Salamonie Dam – adjacent to the Army Corps of Engineers office. There will be a cookout after the race on the pavilion grill.
Runners will go across the top of the Salamonie Dam. The remainder of the course is through the wooded trails in the Salamonie State Forest before returning across the dam to the finish line.
The Salamonie State Forest and the adjacent Kokiwanee Nature Preserve of ACRES Land Trust, Inc. are the site of numerous waterfalls. Bald Eagles make their home along the bluffs of the Salamonie.
