Wheeler Mission Drumstick Dash

The Wheeler Mission Drumstick Dash is one of the largest Thanksgiving Day run/walk events in the country and all of the proceeds benefit Wheeler Mission to provide food, shelter, and care for people experiencing homelessness in central Indiana. The event features a 4.3-mile Full Gobbler course, and a 2.6-mile Mini Gobbler course through the scenic Broad Ripple neighborhoods. The event is a family tradition for many Hoosiers and also features a free 40-yard post-race event, the Lil’ Gobbler’s run, where young children get to chase the event mascot, DASH and receive a race medal for participating.
